Magnificent costumes and storytelling through movement and dance.

The London Children's Ballet performance of Little Lord Fauntleroy

2 October 2016

We were once again enthralled by the very talented dancers from The London Children's Ballet.  This year they gave an exceptional performance of Little Lord Fauntleroy, a ballet based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic tale of a poor American boy who discovered he is heir to his grandfather's great fortune and acquires the title of Little Lord Fauntleroy! At the age of seven, Cedric moves to England and meets his unfriendly grandfather for the first time. Through his own confidence and caring manner he helps his grandfather see the error of his ways, who vows to change for the better. The children have performed this production at the Peacock Theatre in the West End of London and have adapted the choreography in order to suit the smaller company and venues. The residents were engaged in the display of magnificent costumes and storytelling through movement and dance. Well done and thank you for allowing us to share this wonderful show.
