Ashtead Village Day 2011

This year eleven residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at The Ashtead Village Day.  More relatives than ever joined us for the walk down and later at our gazebo for tea and cakes.  We were pleased to see some previous relatives and members of the local community who reguarly visit The Red House.  Although the weather had been awful the week before, it was a glorious afternoon with a refreshing breeze.  Many thanks to the organisers of The Ashtead Village Day which seems to get bigger every year and also to all our helpers.
