The Red House in Ashtead is a Care Home with Specialist Nursing 24 hour a day. We show our resident that living in your home (our care home with nursing) is a positive experience and a benefit in many ways.
We are constantly hearing and reading about Care Homes and other services that fail to provide the care that an older or disabled person should receive, to enable them to maintain their standard of life, dignity and a level of independence that meets their needs.
We believe it is time that the good Homes and Home care service providers are recognised, when high quality services are provided.
Our regulatory body, The Commission for Social Care Inspection has introduced a new system for star ratings and we, at The Red House have recently been awarded the top rating available 3 Star. Please read our Inspection Report attached to this item.
A service that meets peoples needs and a service that is well run and provides good news stories like The Red House, is the sort we do not hear or read enough about. Perhaps this type of accolade is not seen as newsworthy?
We encourage independence and choice for our residents within a safe and friendly environment. Needless to say we at The Red House in Ashtead promote all of the positives outlined above and continue striving to improve our services even further.
